My husband and I have enjoyed baking from a young age. My husband was born into a family that owned and operated a bakery out of their home in El Salvador, and I would help my father bake birthday cakes for the many children in the family in Spokane,WA USA

My husband received diplomas and training at the young age of 16 in pastry, yeast dough, and cookies while still in high school. And has continued to hone his culinary skills working for different bakeries throughout the years. I have worked in the medical field for 20 years, but my love for baking has followed me through the years and I've continued to dabble here and there.
Mi esposo desde los 16 anos octuvo diplomas y entramiento en Pasteleria,masas con levadura y galletas y continuo su experencia en diferentes panaderias por muchos anos al venir U.S.A.Yo me gradue en el campo medico pero me encanta horniar tambiem y lo sigo haciendo trabajo y horneo.
We both have a lifelong dream of doing what we love, baking while bringing smiles to peoples faces. To achieve this goal we have started La Pocha Pastries & Cakes. We are named in honor my husbands mother, her nickname was La Pocha back in El Salvador. We operate with the mission to share what we love with others while offering the tastes of Central and South America.
